Fish for halibut in Ketchikan with this specialty fishing charter! These challenging fish are great for the experienced angler, but our captain is excited to help new anglers learn the halibut fishing’s ins and outs. This trip allows one halibut per person (limit regulations), and all boats must carry a permit to fish for this species.
Our Vessel has a four-person halibut permit. Six guests max. Only four can fish.
We are US Coast Guard certified to carry a maximum of six salmon guests per charter boat. With limited space per vessel, all seats are sold individually. We have group discounts available — Call 1-907-225-7291 for details and book early.
It’s not worth catching the big fish if you can’t get it home and show it off. With our help, your “bragging rights” are safe. Through our friends at Cedars Lodge, for an additional cost, your fish can be professionally filleted, processed, vacuum-sealed, and shipped right to your home, arriving on any day you select! Fire up the grill and invite the neighbors to eat what you caught on your Alaskan adventure!
Please know Fish & Game regulations sometimes change.
Both state and federal regulations may have emergency orders concerning size, limit, or catch & release. Halibut are Federally regulated.

These guys know what they are doing. We each caught 2 fish and had many others get off. And he said the fishing was very slow.

We caught eight salmon with Captain Dan. He was helpful because some of us have never been fishing before. If you are in Ketchikan, it is something that you must do.
